Just when I thought that I already have too many bags, Mulberry is coming out with Alexa bag. The Alexa bag is obviously inspired by the Bayswater but it also looks a little bit like a briefcase. I’d say the Alexa bag is the more masculine version of the Bayswater. I love everything about it except for one little thing; the inside zipper. I know I’m probably just being picky, but when I’m buying a bag that is over a thousand dollar I expect luxury and a plastic zipper does not scream luxury.
I don’t understand why Mulberry choose to have plastic zipper inside their bag. It can’t be because their cutting cost because I’ve seen bags that are half the price with nice metal zipper inside the bags. I’m sure some people don’t even pay attention to this little thing, but it is a little disappointing for someone who inspect every little details on her bags (like me).
Coming soon, from Mulberry ($1,150)

I have been a fan of Stuart Weitman shoes: From flats to heels, I love them all! However, I haven’t seen any Stuart Weitzman bag that I liked until now. What attracts me to this bag are definitely the pleats; they kind of remind me of an accordion. Nevertheless, they are what make this bag so appealing. This bag can easily be an all-year-round bag, since it is not too dark for summer and not too bright for fall.
I can’t decide whether to like this bag or not. It is definitely not ugly, but if I were asked to point out it’s beauty, I’m stumped. I like the interesting shoulder strap, but I think the opening is too small for us to be able to wear it on our shoulder. I know it’s not a shoulder bag, it is a tote, which means you should carry it in your hand. However, this bag is shaped so much like a shoulder bag that my first instinct would be to wear it on my shoulder.
To me, this bag looks like a bag that can work hard, meaning it will be able to fit a lot of stuff, it will match most of your outfit, it will draw people’s eyes to itself because of its beauty and it will lasts for a long time just because Tod’s made it. It sounds a lot like the perfect bag.
Kooba did it again: They came up with an edgy design! I admire Kooba for being able to design a bag that has so much going on but still manages not looking tacky or overwhelming.
If I have to choose one brand that doesn’t make weird bags, it is definitely Tod’s. Their design is mostly classics, clean and understated.
I know that many ladies like this bag and think it is cute. However, I’m not liking it at all. It looks like it has a tongue sticking out. I’m also not a fan of the haircalf panther print. This bag is just not my idea of cute. Maybe I’m the oddball here, but I think that’s what makes life interesting.
